SEO SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Ensure relevant search results, positive user experience, increased website traffic, lead volume, and brand awareness through comprehensive page optimization.
  • Perform keyword research, discovery, and optimization for new relevant keywords across the company website and marketing materials.
  • Use SEO tools such as Google Analytics to monitor daily performance metrics and understand SEO strategy performance.
  • Analyze digital data to make key recommendations for increasing the visibility of managed websites.
  • Source keywords for blogs, press releases, social status updates, and campaign needs.
  • Create and manage pay-per-click campaigns, ads, and other income-generating streams.
  • Test, analyze, and optimize all managed websites to rank higher in search results on major search engines.
  • Execute tests, collect, and analyze data and results, and identify trends to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
  • Perform keyword research for each core product, optimize new product pages, and ensure correct keyword targeting.
  • Produce ranking reports, conduct competitor analysis, and identify SEO and content gaps.
  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies and report on their performance.
  • Conduct audits to ensure best practices and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor key online marketing metrics to track the success of campaigns.
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
  • Work closely with project managers, creative teams, and channel teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed throughout all channels.
  • Manage SEO campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile differences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in SEO or similar roles.
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, NetInsight, Omniture, and WebTrends).
  • Understanding of web analytics, algorithm changes, and the nuances of links within the SEO ecosystem.
  • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audience engagement.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and WordPress is highly recommended.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and technical SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of content management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
